About Mr. Heath:
I was born to Glenn Heath and Rena Waring in Winston-Salem in 1979. I spent all of my childhood and young adult life in Clemmons, NC. Growing up, baseball was my life! My biggest inspiration was Sammy Sosa, playing for the Cubs! I know...poor me. I eventually played baseball at West Forsyth High School and at Catawba University. However, my education took priority in college, and after my freshman year, I transferred to UNC Charlotte. While at UNCC, I received my BS in Communications. I also began working with a little boy with special needs. In that time I found my life's calling! I knew that I wanted to help people, or more specifically, young people who needed a little help. After graduation I moved back home, started working at West Forsyth High School, in the EC program, and began my lateral entry courses at Winston-Salem State. The next year, I moved to East Forsyth High School for work, and found my home! I love it here at East, and hope that each student that I have will love it also.
